Frustrated

I hate my semester two timetable.
I hate it that I barely have any recovery time before starting a new term next Monday.
I hate it that Physiology was much harder as compared to Biochem.

She's frustrated and has no other outlet to let loose...

Last

Well, it's the last day of the year 2010...
And it's the first time I'm spending New Year far away from my family and my home.
...Sounds a bit depressing, huh?

Well I've been in the UK for almost two weeks, and I'm entering my third week in a wholly foreign country.
How have I been?
Hmm... I've been better but I am surviving.

Well, I got my visa.
Yup, all that worrying and the bad dream I had was the omen for another thing.
To say the least, rejection of visa was not something I should have worried about.

Heat Wave

It's so hot these days.
I think I can even fry an egg on a piece of rock lying outside.
Usually, I'm not one to complain about the weather being hot but the temperature these days are ridiculous.
I can only wonder how those living in the desert can cope with the heat.

She feels like a turkey baking in the oven.

My Own Room?

Ok, I just received the accommodation contract yesterday.
And I think I'm staying rather far from my friends... Go figure.
Oh well, at least this will give me an opportunity to 'expand my social circle', not that I like or want to.

She's just saying that but she's actually happy to finally have her own room.

Failing Words

I handed in my documents for visa applications yesterday.
It was also a coincidence that Fui Yin and Erin were there.
The deposit for the flight tickets has already been paid; full payment made only when visa has already been approved of.
And there's also a change in the date of departure; I'm leaving on the 17th of September instead of the 18th.
So that means I have a day less than expected.

So what does words have to do with visas?

Limits

There's a limit to everything, right?
Like a limit to how many times you can actually eat,
The number of times you can listen to a song before getting bored of it,
The number of eye-rolls you can do in a day,
The times you can smack / facepalm yourself before you can't stand the pain anymore...

If you have me as a friend in Facebook, I made a really childish rant in my status.
Well, it is the truth.
I did wait for six years to get the electric keyboard, and I'm still waiting for the cellphone and PSP that I was promised around six months ago.
Everyone in my family has a new phone, excluding me.
And I have all the rights to say that I've never EVER gotten a new phone, neither in the sense of model nor ownership.
Patience is a virtue this girl has hands down.

Dropping Jaws

The PC section of my gaming list is almost done...
And I'm starting to hate the fact that my PS2 is useless to the point that I don't want to fix it.

I hate my brother because he didn't ask for the better one when he had the chance.
And, I shall always remember to never buy any electrical appliance that has been remade into a slim version.
Slim will always mean fast overheating and perhaps lower processing speed.
You don't need to be a console engineer to know that.

She's thinking of ways to get the older, bulkier and better version of the console

Finally, the Avril that I've thought lost to the evil known as mainstream.
Actually, I didn't really realize that she was the one singing the first time around, even when I am supposed to be really good with recognizing voices.
