It seems that I like editing, but I won't do it unless it's just for the fun of it.
I don't want to take it up as a job; translating is already enough to fill up 35% of my pie chart of things I have to do in a week.
This is another gutter shadow- free page that I found while translating.
Transformed from a two page:
to this:
I didn't do the the right page because there's the horrible gutter shadow there.
Anyways, notice the difference in fonts from the previous one?
I downloaded the font package from The Idiot's Guide to Manga Editing and installed it.
It looks authentic now, compared to the last one.
I FEEL SO VERY HAPPY!
That's it from me today.
I'm going to translate the rest of the chapters and then head onto Tasty Kiwi's 솔직 담백하게.
I owe them the rest of volume 4, since I put this on hold for more than two months.
After that, maybe I'll snoop around for more raws and try to practice on editing again, but that has to be after I finish all of my assigned projects.
I don't want to be irresponsible.

ARGHHH
Well, you guys must be puzzled by my title...like always.
Yeah, that's me after studying for a whole week. I'm so sick of it that I'm not even bothered about continuing Physics, which is my weakest subject.
I've been doing absolutely nothing the whole day.
I went out to the Curve and got myself some new clothes.
And no, there won't be any pictures of my ugly self.
When I came home, I did nothing but browsed through the wallpaper section of my bookmarks to get some wallpapers.
And I also downloaded a new theme for my computer. I was getting real tired looking at the one I have.
So, these are the results.
This is my computer with the old theme. Boring, right?
And I love watermarking my stuff. It gives me a reason to use Photoshop.
And these are with the new theme.
I'll give you a cookie if you can spot the differences.

I think I will put this for my laptop, when I get it.
Bro says that this doesn't suit my image. I like it, so the heck with it.
I think this one will work too.
I love this one. It's exactly what I do every freaking day.
I don't remember where I got this wallpaper. It's still one of the best one I've ever seen.
Speaking of which, I have a whole lot of backed-up manga...again.
I think there's 3+GB worth of it unzipped.
I'm afraid of busting my hard drive, so I dare not unzip any one of these until I clear some room. There are a few series coming to an end soon.
But I think it'd be hell the day that it does.
Well, that's the price to pay for countless hours of pure pleasure and bliss.

Almost Done
Well, after I posted the last post...I didn't continue doing my cataloging.
See, my procrastination is THAT bad.
So, I did it today...or yesterday, since it's 1+ in the morning.
ONE?!?!
OMG~
Nah, it's nothing. I stayed up playing MMORPG for 3 days without sleeping; so this is nothing actually.
I started in the late afternoon, like 4.
Went out for dinner and then continued till now.
I have 73 more to finish and 5 folders to zip.
*sigh*
Even when I know I've still got lots to go, I'm now downloading two new releases from Aerandria; Shounen Dolls and ひみつの姫君うわさの王子.
Kyaaaa~ (fangirly scream when Leo of Shounen Dolls pops into the mind)
My manga obsession has just gone up another level; truly an otaku. :D
Since I've got around 20 minutes left to wait, I'll go read 極楽青春ホッケー部!
Listening to Rhymester's Heat Island...now Paramore's That's What You Get.
Update: More fangirly screams after seeing Yukinosuke and Leo in a tux...
Kyaaaaaaaa~

Buzz
Is the sound of the air conditioning above me.
*whacks with the feather duster*
*silence*
I just finished the last episode of 花ざかりの君たちえっ.
A 2-hour finale with absolutely no advertisements! Sweet~
The ending was nice; unlike the Taiwanese version.
Ugh...That one was like halfway way hanging.
I was supposed to dedicate myself today to renaming and cataloging all my backed up manga.
By backed up, it's not my back up version. It's my most recent ones.
The last time I cataloged was around one week ago.
One week later, it became like this...
There's a lot more at the bottom.
It's due to my buzy-ness and probably even laziness and procrastination that made it like that.
There are around 135 chapters, including those inside the folders marked "missing" and "The One".
Yup, 135 chapters.
Crazy right?
So, exactly how many titles am I actually reading?
Let me count...
Umm...
There are 65 titles in my hard disk alone...
...47 titles burnt into discs...
That makes a total of 112 titles.
The ones in my hard disk. That's the ungrouped view.
But since I have OCD when it comes to any reading material, it looks like this...
Cassie once asked how can I keep up with that many titles at once and if I'd get to storyline mixed up.
So did one of the admin in Mangatraders.
Well, the admin's was an indirect question.
The answer is:
It's really easy to manage.
(if you're not a lazy bum and bad ass procrastinator like I am; or that you're not as OCD to rename the chapters to the exact title, chapter and page and put them into the same volume folder...)
And I don't get the stories mixed up.
Here's my how my desktop actually looks like when I'm renaming stuff...
One "Unzipped Manga" folder; one "Manga-Zip Files" folder and the other "Manga" folder.
And then there's my A.F.5 Renamer and my Winamp.
I cannot live without my music.
The AVG is just a weekly thing...that I've not done in weeks. Ehehe...
And this is my desktop when there's nothing open.
I love my background!
Okay, okay. Enough procrastinating.
I've already wasted around 40 minutes on this.
If this goes on, I won't even scratch the surface of my pile and it'll probably grow more tomorrow.
Well, then. Back to work.
Edit: Watermarked the images.
And dinner is grilled stuff with the grill we just got.

Almost There
I'm still not off the hook yet; at least until I'm 21. Heh.
SPM is in 2 days, and the first subject is Malay. Geez, where has all the time went?
(*cough* idled her time away*cough*)
The total days of examination are 8 days at the span of a month. There are breaks in between though. Now, where have I dumped my schedule...
*digs under piles of reference books; finds it lodged between Chem and Physics*
Ah, here it is:
The days in which I have to sit in the stuffy hall and be all nervous are : 11, 12, 13, 18, 20, 24, 25 and the 27th.
Science students are done earlier than Arts! Yay!
I don't know why, but I have a really good feeling about the exams...Maybe it's a premonition of something really bad happening! Maybe I'll find out that I don't qualify for the course I want to take next year! Arghhh! (I can't help being a pessimist)
My last paper will be ending at 3.15, so what am I going to do after that to celebrate my graduation?
The exact same thing I did for PMR 2 years ago; sleep.
I remembered my last paper ended at 10 in the morning. I didn't have my lunch and went straight to bed. I woke up later in the evening, went to the bathroom and then went back to bed. I think I'd most probably be doing the same thing this year.
Prom happens to be right after SPM, which is 3rd of Dec (if there isn't any date change). I'm not the type that attends this kind of event, nor any kind of social events.
Why?
- I'm dateless
- I don't own any sort of dress (nor am I about of waste my allowance on renting one)
- I don't like wearing make-up (it's like a coat of paint of my face, ewhh)
- I don't own any fancy shoes (all I have are sneakers and sandals)
- I have better things to do on that day
Besides, I won't even be around during the whole of December (like always). As to why, no one needs to know.
Even if I was around, I'd most probably be hanging out at Border's graphic novels section or catching a movie at the Cineplex. I'm finally free of school and exams, of course I'd want to enjoy myself for what limited time I have before being shipped off to boot camp (NS) and starting college.
I can't wait to start college too.
Speaking about college, I don't think I should worry too much about the upcoming exams. I mean, even if I don't do well (touchwood) I'll still be able to continue my studies. I've checked the requirements for the course I'm planning to take and all they require is the minimum of 5Cs. Also, it's not like I'm planning to take scholarships or anything. So, I'm seeing SPM as a sort of pass for me to get to college; the ticket and train analogy.
But getting good grades is kinda like having the bragging rights to something; and I'm definitely not the kind that likes to lose, especially to that stuck-up cousin of mine. He's been getting the exact same grades as I did since way, way back. I really should be less competitive.
I understand that grades aren't everything, but I just can't help but compare myself with others. Dad wasn't one of the best students during school time, but he's more successful compared them. Even Ms. Tan said that her non-degree holding friends are more successful, just because they dare to take chances.
Also, grandma used to say: Everyone wants to be No.1, but who's going to be No.2?
I never understood why she said that, I don't think I ever will, on a count that she's dead.
Oh well.

Menouthis/ Words
I'm stuck with Menouthis in my head. It's a soundtrack by ES Posthumus and it has a feel of danger to it. Kudos to Ryan for Nara; it's simply awesome.
My title is a bit misleading today, but whatever.
I've got lots to say today and they're all random stuff.
I'm currently sitting for my trials. Yes, TRIALS.
I don't have any mood to study, let alone do any exercises.
Also, I'm suffocating. I feel like the whole world is getting smaller and smaller by the minute and I've got to get out, fast. If the walls get any closer, I'd develop claustrophobia soon. Even Jia Wern feels the same. Both of us feel like we can no longer stand being in the same environment, and that we've lost the connections we had.
It's getting harder and harder to breathe, especially in school. Everyday, I'd have to force myself to get up and get going. As I walk through the gates of the school, I feel dread claiming another victim, me.
Maybe it's because the real exam is looming closer, maybe...
I've finally finished reading Breaking Dawn on Monday. Since I've finished it, I can finally say that it wasn't as crappy as most people think. It's not great, neither is it that bad; but that's just my opinion. Thanks, Cass. I'll lend you Skip Beat as soon as I'm done with it.
I know I've said this loads of time, but I LOVE my MP3! It may sound crazy (what the heck, it is!) but I feel that it understands me, a lot.
I usually put it on Playlist mode and on shuffle items but I've recently let it play on Artist mode and shuffle tracks. While I was reading Breaking Dawn, the music somehow shifted according to the scene.
For instance, there was a part when Bella woke in her new form; The Awakening by Switchfoot started.
When Jacob imprinted on Nessie (that sounds so much better than Renessme, Vanessa works too)- First Love by Utada Hikaru.
The part where Bella saw her current form- Just a Dream by Jump5.
When she saw her daughter for the first time- Crystal Flower by Park Jion-Meng.
The scene where they were plotting the defence- Sara ni Tatakau Monotachi by Nobuo Uematsu.
When the Volturi arrived- Tatakau Monotachi by the same artise.
The ending- Fu Zhuang Bu He Ge by Kim Hwan-Jio. The name translate to 'unsuitable clothes for the occasion', but the playful nature of the soundtrack suits the ending.
Sometimes, it even plays songs that I need to brigthen up my mood; like it plays Bad Day when I'm having one, and Rave when I lack the enthusiasm to do something.
Nothing can ever replace my faithful friend of 5 years.
...
After pausing for a moment to tend to requests in the forum, I lost thought of what I wanted to say...Whatever.
I think that's it for today.

Was supposed...
Was supposed to attend a Physics-Chem seminar today, but it was moved to next week.
Was supposed to start taking driving lessons now, but I didn't call the instructor.
Was supposed to think of ways to earn money to buy stuff, but my first proposal was shot off by my parents.
Was supposed to figure out the last few bits of Missing U (song from o2jam) on the keyboard, but did Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude instead. I want to learn to play with my left hand, it feels bad being useless on the piano.
Was supposed to sleep early today, but I didn't.
Was supposed not to waste my weekends away, but I played Kingdom Hearts:CoM the whole of Saturday and Sunday afternoon and read chapter 13 of Ludwig Kakumei.
...Was supposed to do a hell lot of other stuff, but didn't.
Random: I like reading about happy endings because I know that life is anything but that.

Pshhh
I should really be studying right now, but I'm not.
I don't think my Physics tutor would be really happy to know that I've gotten THAT lazy, nor will my dad.
Downloaded a few songs which I've wanted to but never got to do it.
- Pockets Full of Sunshine by Natasha Beddingfield (LOVED it as soon as I heard it on American Idol)
- Everything by Micheal Buble (Dunno why I like this song, i just do)
- Love Song by Sara Bareilles
- Tear on My Guitar by Taylor Swift
As soon as I got home from that really pointless dinner, an idea popped into my head...

I took my computer sound system and moved it to my room!
LoL!
Tomorrow is a public holiday and like my previous post, I don't think I'll be doing any studying. So...My midterms are pretty much screwed. Woohooo~
I'll go back into my room and enjoy whatever time I have left till my parental units come upstairs and have me lower the volume.

History Blues
To the cracks I see near the air conditioning unit,
GAWD...I swore to update my blog more often and I didn't do it. I kinda put it aside after having so many things going on with life.
Anyways, exams are here! Rather, it is ongoing; History is TOMORROW! *wide eye*
Even though the teacher was nice enough to give us to scope of questions, I still couldn't find the mood to study.
The essay questions I would be taking are:
1.Penyebaran Islam di Makkah (I still remember bits and pieces of it from the finals last year)
2. Penentangan Pemimpin Tempatan terhadap British (made a story out of it and tortured bro by asking him to listen; will do the same with Matt, my toy dog (yes, I own a toy dog; many in fact). I'll be taken as a psychopath if anyone sees it)
3. Pilihan raya.
My first attempt to study history was after reaching school. Took the Form 4 textbook out of my bag and tried reading it. Got to chapter 4 and fell asleep. Woke up when the teacher came into the class and tried again. Fell asleep after 5 minutes.
Woke up later for EST paper 2.
2nd attempt was during the car ride to Giant. Nothing went in.
Such a sad case, huh?
The whole afternoon was spent at Giant. It involved mom, a large cart of groceries (two months worth to be exact) and me feeling really sticky.
The electricity stopped again during the second half of the day in school. Geez, is the school that poor not to be able to pay for the electric bills?
Back at home, I fell asleep after taking a long and warm shower. Was woken up abruptly when bro came into the room and asked if he could have my hotdog.
I've been wondering about this for quite some time; do guys really have black holes for stomachs? I always hear them complaining about being hungry! Where does all the food go?
Watched the semi-finals of American Idol while munching on that hotdog of mine. I'm glad that Syesha got kicked off. I don't know why, but I just don't like her. Mom was glad that she's out. The two Davids are out to battle each other for the title.
I like David Cook...*drools* XD
He has the bad boy look that I like; so does Robert Downey Jr. of Iron Man. :X
Back to history. Now, I'll just have to memorize the whole voting process and I'm good to go. Yeah, there's this part of the structure question involving the pentadbiran negeri and persekutuan thingy...Guess I'll have to read up about that too. GAHHHHHH!
And I found out that my blog picture doesn't show. The background pic, I mean; I don't take pictures of myself in real life. Yeah, I'm that UGLY.
I could go blog skin hunting now...But any more procrastination on my studying would make me lose more sleep later. I'll just find one that I like and change it tomorrow then.
Feels less crappy; but crappy nonetheless,
Lyn.
