A Boring Winter Solstice

It's Winter Solstice tomorrow. I don't think that i'll be in any mood to celebrate it. There's always the glutinous balls to make tomorrow, and i hate that it stick to my fingers and it's awfully hard to get them out later if it sticks to your nails.

The whole day has been a boring one. Most of my friends are away or getting ready for next year's public exams by attending tuition. I hate it; but it's something that i have to suffer with, to get the grades for the scholarship. It's not like my parents can't afford the tuition fees and my expenses when (and if) i manage to get myself overseas. I've been considering the Ivy League, like Dartmouth and Cornell...Harvard and Yale is a lil too impossible. First, i don't know if i can cope with it; and second, i don't think i'll fare that well too far away. I mean, one of my aunt's migrating there in a few months and i won't be entering colleges for another year or so. Mom said that i could go over to Australia; and since she has a few relatives living there, and another aunt is going to settle down there, i'll still be able to reduce on the homesickness.

Sigh...I'll worry about that later, like in 9-10 more months. I'll go college hunting when SPM is over.
