Heat Wave

It's so hot these days.
I think I can even fry an egg on a piece of rock lying outside.
Usually, I'm not one to complain about the weather being hot but the temperature these days are ridiculous.
I can only wonder how those living in the desert can cope with the heat.

Magic Hands

I think it was a name of a clown, or was it a mime... I don't remember.

I don't even remember what I was planning to write about...

If you have me as a friend in Facebook, I made a really childish rant in my status.
Well, it is the truth.
I did wait for six years to get the electric keyboard, and I'm still waiting for the cellphone and PSP that I was promised around six months ago.
Everyone in my family has a new phone, excluding me.
And I have all the rights to say that I've never EVER gotten a new phone, neither in the sense of model nor ownership.
Patience is a virtue this girl has hands down.

Dropping Jaws

The PC section of my gaming list is almost done...
And I'm starting to hate the fact that my PS2 is useless to the point that I don't want to fix it.

I hate my brother because he didn't ask for the better one when he had the chance.
And, I shall always remember to never buy any electrical appliance that has been remade into a slim version.
Slim will always mean fast overheating and perhaps lower processing speed.
You don't need to be a console engineer to know that.

She's thinking of ways to get the older, bulkier and better version of the console

Yeah, it's pretty frustrating when you have a nagging voice inside your head.
That's what I'm having in mine.

Game Review: 誰にでも裏があるTrue or Lie～

I know, it's been a long time since my last review.
Yeah, I know. I still owe some people the route spoilers for the 不思議の国のアリス series.
Those, are still in progress while I have some of the other game routes already starting to rot in my hard drive.
There's just so many things happening in my life right now (especially getting ready for college in fall) that I've put aside gaming for a while now.

As for this game, it's been a while since I've played it.
Heck, I've even uninstalled it out of my hard drive just to get back some space for new games I'm getting.
The routes are almost done (I'm just about 6 route/ 4 characters from completing it).
I can't say that I enjoyed it very much though...

Why?
You'll just have to read through the review to find out, ne?
Is it really a good idea to have your sister as a teacher in your school?

Game Review: Clover no Kuni no Alice

As I've mentioned in my updating post, I'll be doing another review.
But first, let me inform you guys here that

THERE IS NO ENGLISH VERSION OF ANY OF THE 乙女 GAMES THAT ARE MENTIONED HERE!!!

THERE IS ALSO NO ENGLISH PATCH FOR THEM EITHER!

Yes, I know many have come here in search of a language patch and I'm sorry to tell you that it simply does not exist!
I highly doubt that it'll be translated to English either.
So if you want to play the game, try learning Japanese before you start or you can always head over to my spoiler section.

Edit: My mistake; there is AGTH but that's just having the program run it through the online translators and displaying them. Unless you're not a grammar Nazi or that you don't mind being fumbled by what it displays, I suggest that you don't use it.

As mentioned in my title, I'll be doing the sequel to ハートの国のアリス of the 不思議の国のアリス series, クローバーの国のアリス.

Eh-

Yo.
I know, I know.
My finals are tomorrow...and I'm going to do one of my long pending game reviews!
See how badly I procrastinate?
No worries, it's Morale Studies tomorrow.

First thing's first, I've done some changes in my blog or should I say, blogs.
I've done some tweaking and tinkering during my breaks of crashing 3 months worth of info into my brain and the changes are somewhat close to being completed.

So, this is what I've done:
I've created two separate blogs for my reviews.
The first one would be about all-ages 乙女ガーム while the second one would be about 18禁.
Within these two blogs are also guides and walkthroughs to help those who are struggling with getting to the good end.
The strategies and walkthroughs posted are 100% accurate because I try them out before I post them.
And if you don't want to play the games but still want to know what goes on and how it ends, there's the spoilers.
I'll post up the spoilers along with the CGs.

Be warned, don't expect any CG with 18禁 cause that's just plain wrong (to me, that is).

Yes, I do play R-rated games.
And having to study Biology as a subject has taken away the taboo when it comes to 18禁.
And no, I actually don't get turned on at all.
In fact, my stomach tends to squirm and it's rather painful, and it has nothing to do with acid reflux.

Since I'm still a beginner in Japanese language, my interpretations would be somewhat inaccurate.
I tend to sway towards Kanji and dread it when the dialog is filled with hiragana and katakana.
It's not so bad now, since I've picked up both forms but there would still be some misinterpretations.
So if you notice any mistakes, please inform me to set the story and me straight.

Oh, did I mention that the ONLY way to see the posts about the games is through my game list?

Yeah, I'm evil. *evil grin*

- Overload of work since I'm resiting some of my subjects. Ask my friends, I've practically moved into the campus library and have not joined them for lunch in a long while.

Don't worry, I do eat.

- Hardly even touched the guide to using Suzie and CG ripping. Hence, I still have no idea how the hell it works.

Game Review: Heart no Kuni no Alice

Now, the moment you've all been waiting for (or I've been waiting for)...
My first ever game review!

Yeah, yeah; I'm not famous enough or qualified to give game reviews, but I'll do it anyways.

*sticks out tongue like a little kid*

I'll be doing this now and then when I come along with a game that I have.
I can foresee that most of it would probably be Japanese visual novels, but there might be occasional XBox 360 games popping up or even PSP, that is if I get the console.

The game that I would be reviewing today would be Heart no Kuni no Alice (no, duh).

And to make things clear from here on out, I will not be explaining about the game plots, strategy or even the endings in any of my future reviews.
My reviews would be entirely on my thoughts on the game plot, graphics, gameplay and soundtracks.
I will, however, make posts about the routes of the game that I've played; but that depends entirely on whether I liked it or not. (For those who wants CGs and spoilers, this is what you should wait for.)
I don't plan to waste my time on things that I don't like.

Now, onwards with the review!

Wh-wh-WHAT?

Like I wrote yesterday, I'm currently into クロバの国のアリス～Wonderful Wonder World～.

I finished ハートの国のアリス, its prequel, around two weeks after I got it.

The only thing left now to complete is the dance A ending for most of the characters.

Pretty fast, considering that there are nine character routes to take, which has a whole lot of CG to collect and it cost me around... uh...two-fifty to get it.

For those in the know,  both are bloody 乙女ガーム series developed by QuinRose and is already in manga form.

Thank goodness that it the operating platform is PC and my laptop actually has the specs to store and run it.
I'm just not happy with the price, but it's a known fact that the Japanese deal by the thousands and has exceptionally high cost of living.

And for those who don't, they just see the title as an alien language and go "WTH is that?"

I'm Listening

Sound, oh glorious sound.
I find no greater joy than to listen, and read.
Come to think of it, most of the activities that I love doing are very singular, other than gaming of course.

I have been pondering about this question Sappy asked when we met at MPH.
She finds it odd that no one in my family enjoys reading other than me and wonders where I've picked it up.
She isn't the first to ask though, and I didn't really know how to answer either.
I simply don't know.

Anyways, I'm not writing about books and reading.
Sound is the belle of the ball this time, voices to be more specific.

乙女ガム is something that I'm dabbling into right now.
That's the reason behind my recent weird tweets.
...Speaking of which, I've noticed that the manga genre is running on 'Alice in the Wonderland' plots right now.
Westerners are into vampires while the Japanese are into Alice... Heh?
